Audio Typing Definition
Audio typing is similar to stenography work in that audio typing involves the conversion of a recording of voice or dictation into a typed format.
An Audio typist is someone who carries out the process of audio typing. The typist usually has a transcription machine or if the recording is electronic the Audio typist will playback the audio recording through transcription software.
Audio typing is different to general audio transcription in that Audio Typing involves only one voice – in this way Audio typing is the same to dictation.
