Google video are promoting that in order to increase search rankings a transcript of a video should be posted along with the video itself.
A video transcription allows search engines to identify what the video is about in more detail and direct more people towards the video and the site.
The people at Google have defined a specific date stamp format for submission of video transcripts. This special format is available on request from Transcript Divas.
Video transcription / VOX POPS transcription
VOX POPS is a specialised area of service that Transcript Divas offer to organisations and businesses such as universities, schools or arts institutes and some legal services where video interview transcription is required. VOX POPS (or Man on the street type interviews) are used to get feedback from the general public about specific areas of interest.

Time coding Video Transcriptions
On request time codes can be added to transcripts.Time coding allows a video to broken into segments for easy editing and follows a standard time code format: HH:MM:SS
HH: Hours starting at 00
MM: Minutes starting at 00
SS: Seconds starting at 00
The standard approach is to either place a time code from either the ‘burnt’ in time code from the video or elapsed time from the audio file. Elapsed time does not match the image as closely.
When used, time codes are usually placed at the beginning of each person talking or at 30 second intervals during monologues.
