What will the job entail?
The process is simple: the client submits their recording files to the Project Manager. The PM reviews the file, then sends it to you (the transcriber).
To enable you to transcribe the file, we recommend you have the following things:
- stable, reliable internet connection
- a computer
- foot pedal and headset to free up your hands
- transcription software
- time tracking software
- file converter
- text expander
- dictionary
Once you have transcribed the file, the Word doc goes back to the client for review.

Transcript Divas’ typist rates vary depending on what we charge the clients. The more complex the transcript, or the faster the turnaround, the higher the rates.
If you can commit to transcribing at least fours hours of recording a week, then joining us could be for you.
